Profile visits and favorites

Profile owners can see who visits or saves their profile when that member has a public profile visible to them. Your visit count and last visit time can appear there. Accounts without an available public profile appear without a name or link. Signed-out visits are grouped by day and do not reveal an identity or IP address.

Switch off Show others when I visit their profile in My profile → Account to stop sharing new visits while signed in and hide your name on earlier visits. Your own visitor overview remains available. This setting does not change messages or favorites.

Profile information

You choose whether your profile is published. You can edit it and change its visibility from My Profile. Your username is visible to people you message. Public profile information may include sensitive information you chose to share.

Photos in messages

Photos are delivered after upload and compression, without waiting for review. View once is the default: the recipient can open the photo once. Opening starts when the server sends the image; closing it, leaving the page or switching apps ends that viewing. An interrupted connection may use the opening before the photo appears. The sender cannot reopen a view-once photo after sending. Choose Keep in chat for a photo both participants can reopen. Captions remain in the conversation.

View once does not prevent screenshots, screen recordings or another camera. Authorised administrators retain access to the compressed photo for later review, including after its one opening, and can remove it. Stored chat photos remain until removed by a moderator or either participant’s account is deleted. Chat photos are not end-to-end encrypted.

We store a compressed image up to 1,600 pixels and 500 KB, remove embedded metadata and do not keep the original upload. A keyed hash of the sending connection is stored for manual abuse controls. Applied connection blocks remain until an administrator removes them.
