Before you contact someone

  • Check the profile, activity status and verification badge where available.
  • Keep payment details, passwords and identity documents private.
  • Do not send money to people you have just met.
  • Block profiles that pressure, threaten or repeatedly contact you.

Photos and private media

You can send a photo in a private conversation. Check that the other person wants to receive it and that you have permission to share it. Photos are delivered without waiting for moderator approval. Administrators may review chat photos afterwards and remove content that breaks the rules. A recipient can still save a copy.

Reports

Use Report on a profile for scams, impersonation, harassment, underage concerns or rule violations. Illegal content can be reported through the illegal content form.

Meetings

If you decide to meet someone, choose a public place for the first meeting, tell a person you trust where you are going and arrange your own transport.

Immediate danger

Contact your local emergency services if you believe someone is in immediate danger.
