How to Report a Chat Profile

A useful report explains what happened and makes the account easy to identify. You do not need to investigate the person yourself. Focus on the behavior you saw, include the relevant context and stop the conversation if continuing makes you uncomfortable.

Report the behavior you actually observed

Describe the specific issue. For example: “This account asked me to pay before continuing the chat” is more useful than “This person seems suspicious.” Include the message or action that led you to report them, and distinguish what you know from what you suspect.

A slow reply or a declined conversation is not evidence of wrongdoing. Threats or repeated contact after a clear refusal are different situations. If you are unsure what you are seeing, our guide to suspicious chat profiles can help you identify the behavior that needs attention.

Keep enough information to identify the incident

Record the profile address or username, along with when the exchange took place. If you can provide relevant message text, keep it focused on the issue. Mention whether the contact happened on SextingZone or after moving to another service.

A screenshot may help explain the situation, but review it before sharing it. Crop out unrelated conversations and avoid sending personal material that the report does not need. Do not ask someone for additional intimate images as supposed proof of their identity.

Use the site’s reporting or contact route

On a SextingZone profile, choose Report and select the closest reason. The optional Details field allows up to 500 characters, so lead with the incident. Signed-in members can also choose Also block this profile. For questions that need more context, use the contact page. Keep passwords out of reports.

If the behavior happened on Snapchat, Telegram or another service, use that service’s reporting route as well. Explain the connection to the SextingZone profile where relevant. The guide to sharing chat usernames covers what changes when a conversation moves elsewhere.

Step away while the concern is being handled

Sending a report does not require you to keep talking to the account. You can stop responding. Avoid arguing about whether you will report them or posting their personal details publicly. If someone threatens immediate harm, contact the appropriate local emergency service promptly.

A report is a request for review. It does not guarantee a particular outcome or response time. Keep your own chat boundaries in place. If account access is part of the problem, also read how to protect your chat account.
